This is my new favorite snack recipe for Joshua, as it is easy and fast to make, healthy, and delicious! Joshua loves it, and so do I. If you love peanut butter, you will love this recipe, and it is great for sharing.
This recipe is by Baby Nutritionist, Sanchita Daswani. She offers customized toddler meal plans based on your child's diet. She offers various toddler meal plan packages based on your needs. Here are some examples of the plans she offers. (image below)
This is just one of her snack recipes I have tried and loved. Honestly, there are still so many that I have yet to try out. But so far all the recipes we have tried, it has been a success.
PEANUT OAT BALL RECIPE
1 CUP OATS GROUNDED
6 TABLESPOONS PEANUT BUTTER
1/4 CUP COCONUT DESICCATED
1/4 TEASPOON CINNAMON
3 TABLESPOON HONEY
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together, except the honey. (I leave this to the end, so I can adjust the sweetness.)
Add the honey and mix again. If you don't like it too sweet, you can add in half first, and slowly add more.
Scoop a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture, and roll into a ball.
If you like it extra coconutty, roll it in coconut flakes or coconut desiccated for garnishing.
Refrigerate, take it out for an hour before serving.
