Nursing in Style Vlog

I know I am backtracking a bit here, but I finally had time to put my IGTV on my blog. Hurray! This is the first-ever video I made for Mummy Diary's, I was actually really nervous about filming this video, as I am not used to talking on camera. I was even more worried about posting it, as I am not sure what the response would be like. Luckily, everyone was very nice about it, and been very supportive, which I cannot be more grateful.

So here is the video review on 3 different nursing bras I used and their Pros and Cons. (Click on the image below to go to the link.)

I love this bra because it is so pretty. After giving birth, I just felt so unattractive and feeling sexy and desirable again was a big challenge for me. One of the things that helped was wearing beautiful nursing bras, so I feel less frumpy and "just a mum".

PROS

  • Easy access - great for breastfeeding mums.

  • No underwire - comfortable to wear & would not affect breastmilk supply.

  • Pretty to look at - good for self-confidence.

  • Two way back design - so can wear with different outfits.

CONS

  • Not the most supportive - better for smaller cup size.

This was my everyday T-shirt bra, and I love it because it is just comfortable. I also don't have to worry about anything showing through even if my top is quite thin, a it is just a smooth surface.

PROS

  • Have an in-built handsfree function - great for pumping mums.

  • Comfortable to wear.

  • Stretchy fabric so flexible in size.

  • Can also use for breastfeeding.

  • Good support

CONS

  • Not the easiest to breastfeed.

I love the functionality and look of this bra. The design is pretty, and it has a very clever concealed handsfree function as well, which I love.

PROS

  • Good for both pumping and breastfeeding mums.

  • Has hands free function and nursing clips breast panels for quick access.

  • Good Support - have wider straps on the shoulder and back.

  • Beautiful design - good for self-confidence.

CONS

  • Has underwire, so it might affect some mum's milk flow.

I hope you like my recommendations above, they are my top 3 maternity bras that I used most often.

Sending you love & positive thoughts,

Christine xxx
