A Scandinavian White Christmas Shoot

Christmas is just around the corner, so it is time to think about booking in for your Christmas family shoot. (If you are planning to do one.) If you love the minimalistic and clean Scandinavian style, you will love the shoot I did with Little Stories recently.

I love the Scandinavian style, as their design focuses on clean, simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty. They also use a lot of earthy elements, such as plants, natural wood, and bright white, to give it that modern yet earthy tone. Truth be told, if my husband is more into this style, I am sure the decor in my house will be very Scandi.

My Christmas Shoot Experience

Even though my husband didn't join us for this Christmas Shoot (as he is all photoshoot out this year), Joshua and I had a great time at the shoot. So much so that Joshua was dancing most of the time we were there, which was very cute.

This Christmas Shoot was a true collaboration with different companies, who worked seamlessly together.

Amy is the visionary behind Little Stories. Her photography style is light, bright, yet crisp. Her style is feminine and elegant, perfect for those who love their photography with a feminine touch.

She loves to capture moments from maternity, newborns, kids and families, and couples to engagements because they are full of love and little stories.

No photoshoot is complete without the perfect setting, and HoneyWood Flower Labs did a fantastic job decorating the studio. The Inkuu studio has large floor to ceiling windows giving it plenty of natural light. The studio is plain, bright, and white, the ideal blank canvas to transform the place into any setting you desire.

For this Scandinavian White Christmas theme, HoneyWood Flower Labs team bought in lots of fresh pine trees and table decorations, transforming the studio into a Minimalistic Winter Wonderland. Honestly, when I walked in, I felt like I was somewhere in Europe and not a factory building in Chai Wan.

I love their use of winter berries, fresh pine cones, cinnamon, and cotton. The use of warm colours mixed with natures green and white just gives such a wholesome feel.

If you love their decor and would like them for your home Christmas decoration, give them a call. They have upcoming Christmas workshops where you can make your own Christmas Wreaths and other decorations.

If you are planning on throwing an intimate Christmas party at home. They also offer bespoke table decorations and home floral arrangements to give your home that desirable Christmas elegance.

It was lovely getting my makeup done by Once Makeup. Their makeup artist, Daisy, was friendly and personable, and we had a great time working together.

The colour palette she chose was a Christmasy hue, which was perfect for the shoot. I liked that I still look like me, just a more glammed up version of me. I was worried the lashes would be a bit too long initially, but I loved the final result. (I just wish my lashes are naturally that long. LOL)

If you are looking to do a Christmas Family shoot, I would highly recommend booking a shoot with this dream team. You can contact Amy from Little Stories for more information. She can organise the whole shoot for you, from decor to hair and makeup, so you can simply enjoy the shoot and not worry about the fuss.

I hope you like my blog post today. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to message me. I will reply as soon as possible.

Sending you love & positive thoughts,

Christine xxx
